Airborne systems
EDAIR R&D investment is oriented to the integration of innovative technologies in aircraft systems. This effort is oriented to new satcoms developments, the use of photonics and the integration of power electronics and hybrid energy systems.
The integration of new systems in aircrafts and their certification is a key role of EDAIR.Airworthiness and airsafety cerifications under EASA/FAA regulatry frames are fullfilled by means of engineering studies and ground and flight tests.
Military mission system qualification are also certified by the test performed on accredited military test centers and flight mission test performances.
